With some highrises in Sunalta finally, the skyline should taper nicely to the west. I'd say this site is the perfect spot for a 40+ storey tower, especially with WV towers a few blocks to the north. I think the Beltline should have several towers in this height range, and then use the surrounding communities to step the heights down. Not every Beltline site needs full density though, leave that to the Core.

I like the tower, but the podium feels like a miss. It seems excessively sterile, especially the large white blank space above the retail.

I agree actually. The podium should be twice the height. As it is, if the white space is filled with retail signage it might help.
