I wonder if they got the restrictive covenants removed?

The City can approve a DP, but I think this still doesn't mean the development can legally move forward. Only when the restrictive covenants have been discharged off of the title. Not 100% sure on this though.

Same deal with Codetta (24th & Exshaw). Except Codetta isn't under the restrictive covenants so I suspect that might start even sooner. Plus one of the houses caught fire a few months ago so..

With dedicated bike lanes on both sides, and a few multifamily developments, 24th will have a completely different look and feel in a few years compared to a couple of years ago.

D-map for this site shows 'Permit Pending Release' - after approval back in September 2021.
I assume there was a resolution to the covenant issue.

When I watched the council meeting about this (and the other developments on the south side of 24th) they actually approved the DP's so that they could be used in court to justify scrapping the covenant. It was a rather contentious council meeting to say the least.

Drove past this the other day and I see the house is now demolished. Construction starting soon?
