There was an idea for a gondola service a long time ago, doesn't seem like it was ever seriously considered. Sounds like they were talking about a similar route that the MAX Orange currently goes West of Crowxhild

I forgot about that gondola idea, I actually liked that one quite a bit.

Something will come eventually for the area in the future, the University (and district) will continue to grow and the hospital will continue to expand as the population continues to rise . A gondola would be cool and it seems like it could maybe happen one day, but we also live in Calgary so it will obviously end up being a shuttle bus or something, maybe, if we are lucky a street car.
IIRC, the gondola was to go from up in the Westbrook area and across the river valley over to the hospital, continuing on to the university.

Ah, I didn't even think of Westbrook, but that would be ideal, considering that there was talk of spurring a LRT from Westbrook down the SW toward MRU, that could be an ideal connection.
