The first suburban-to-urban transition in contemporary Calgary history. Much work remains - particularly around the walkable main-street plan design being implmented - but it's great to see. Proof that we can accept change and that change is good in a neighbourhood.

This one has indeed turned out very well. Reminds me of Lido, but with scaled down materials. Regardless of the quality of finishes, the form is great. Calgary could really use about 50 more of these.

The patio doesn't face toward NE, but you can still view toward NE from the north end of the patio. You get a pretty good view of downtown from up there, I know someone who lives there, I'll see if I can get them to snap some pics.
