Looks like construction is still a couple of months away. Apparently the soil is notoriously soft in that area so right now they are driving test piles. Construction is still going to happen though.

Construction seems to have halted, with no more construction equipment to be seen. I hope this tower didn’t get put on hold.

^Not on hold. The equipment earlier was doing pile testing in preparation for the upcoming construction. The soil in that location is notoriously sandy, and piles needed to be tested first. Construction was planned to start around 3 months after the test equipment first arrived.

Equipment and work is going on again. They seem to be clearing the site of any old concrete, asphalt and vegetation.

Site has been cleared and leveled. There are site offices on the north edge of the property and porta-potties (sure sign things are ready to go )

Great to hear! This will be the first real tall highrise outside the core/beltline since the towers by Westbrook were done.

I have a feeling that this building won't disappoint in its execution because it couldn't possibly be uglier in person than what the render represents. No expectations means expectations met.

Yeah, the rendering doesn’t leave much to be desired, makes no it easy to be better than expected. It’s probably going to look something like the Hat in East Village.
