Just noticed that RioCan updated their estimated completion dates for the podium and the smaller tower. Looks like the East Tower is set to be completed by 2020 winter, so Im assuming that construction would begin sometime Summer next year, seeing that the parkade and podium would be completed in terms of construction, it wouldn't take long to construct the 25 storeys.
 
Riocan isn't building the towers. I'd take these dates with a grain of salt even if they were.

The Royal is going to be done soon, it'll be interesting to see if EB sets up a sales centre for these towers. If they don't, they won't get built any time soon.

Embassy Bosa might test the waters once Verve winds down. That is the only condo project actively selling in East Village right now. It would be simple for them to set up their half of the existing sales centre and open up sales on Arris.
 
I believe Fram + Slokker are planning to launch Vibe within the next year as well.

Both Bosa and F&S put their remaining projects in East Village on hold due to market conditions. As they did with their first projects, they will probably launch together. As much as we would all like to see East Village built-out, the condo market in the inner city is still very subdued. There is a lot of inventory left to sell. Almost all of the new condo buildings completed in the last couple of years, still have units to sell. There is the resale market competing with this.
You also have investors looking at all of the new purpose rental buildings that are coming on line. If you were thinking about buying a condo as investment to rent it out. Think again!

Fram will launch their next project before Boss will. Look for Fram to launch Vibe in spring of 2019.
