I toured the Ryerson campus earlier this year and have to say the SLC is a total show stopper. I can dig up some of my photos if anyone's interested, don't know if I have any of the interior though. If the library will be anything like the SLC it will be incredible, imo.

Thanks for posting Spudski. Lucky you seeing the building in person. I've always wanted to see it for myself...someday.
 
I toured through it this summer, didn't think to take pics though. For reference sake though, the Ryerson Student Centre coast $75 million, while our New Central Library is going to cost $250 million, so our finishes should be substantially better than what's in Ryerson.

I'm curious to see how the Library will look from that angle once the glazing is done. The render shows more glass and darker spandrel as it gets higher.

That's a good thing! We need more light and airy cladding in this city.
