It's been six months since our last article on Versus, when it had just finished completion and was opened to residents. While the homeowners acquaint themselves with their new digs, we recently had a chance to catch up with the team at ONE Properties and check out how things have been going since occupancy.

Looking out from the west tower, it becomes immediately evident how superb the views are. No matter which direction you face, the summer vistas are breathtaking. Looking out to the west, you can spot the Foothills and Rocky Mountains with the city in the foreground. The north view presents a great view of Downtown Calgary, with Nose Hill as the backdrop.

East-facing vistas produce more views of the Downtown Calgary skyline and of the Beltline, and to the south, the true scale of the Beltline skyline, as well as the Rocky Mountains, come into focus. With no comparably tall buildings to the west, residents can view the Rockies from units on the north, west or south sides of the building.

Versus comes with common social terraces on the lower floors of both towers along the podium level, and while the views aren't quite as far-reaching, they are just as dynamic, fostering a more intimate connection with its surroundings.

The views and summer spaces are no doubt a big factor in drawing residents to the newly complete development. When we last visited Versus, the buildings were only starting to welcome residents, but six months later and the complex is three-quarters full — even in a sluggish economy.
