The construction of Embassy Bosa's The Royal, which is located in Calgary's Beltline district, has been moving along at a strong pace. Our most recent construction photos show that all of the site except for a small portion at the west end is either at or above grade.

Progress on the site had been slow initially, with work beginning in June of 2015, and a crane finally being set up in August of 2016. This was due to some minor setbacks that have now been resolved, a pretty common situation in large construction projects.

In the seven months since that time however, the site has been progressing at a fast pace, with two Potain construction cranes working steadily.

A milestone was recently reached with the concrete pour for the parkade ramp connecting to the street level.

The east end of the site shows that the first floor of the podium is well underway. The east end of the podium has extra high ceilings as Urban Fare Grocers will be the main-level tenant. Above that will be an urban format Canadian Tire.
