When we last checked up on ONE Properties' Curtis Block, the towers were rapidly rising, but at that time there were no signs of exterior cladding work, leaving some to wonder if the cladding would come much later, as we saw with the West Village Towers.

Recent photos however, show that cladding installation has now begun on the two tower project located in the eastern end of Calgary's Beltline. Metal panels of dark and light gray are currently being installed on the west side of the north tower.

The three tower project has been under construction for a little over two years now, and while the first year saw mostly excavation work that involved a large area, the past year has seen the podium and tower portions spring to life on their ascent into the Beltline skyline.

Designed by Arquitectonica, and Dialog, Curtis Block, when finished will ultimately house close to 1,000 residential units. All of which will be rental suites. The project will feature retail on 12th and 13th ave, with the main residential entrance located on Macleod Trail SE.
