Skyrisecities Calgary has recently learned that large mullti-family development is being proposed in Calgary's Windsor Park neighborhood. Brava Developments has submitted a Development Permit to build a 275 unit multi-family building at 716 58 Ave SW.
The project, named Chinook Landing is still in early stages as the Development Permit permit has only been recently submitted, and is under review. The building as being proposed as a purpose rental built development, and the rendering for the project shows a 5 storey modern styled building, with gray, brown and charcoal paneling, and looks very similar to The Giordano, one of Brava's other projects already under construction.
The proposed location is on the corner of 58th Ave and Elbow Drive, is rich with amenities, as it is within a short walk to Chinook Centre, Calgary's largest shopping mall, and close to Chinook LRT Station. It's also close numerous business that run along McLeod Trail.
With the project still in the permit review stage, there are still some steps to go before we see any construction activity.
