A month since our last update, and drilling and piling work at the future Redstone site in the Beltline is nearing completion. Most of the piles are now in place, it to not be long now before excavation work gets underway.

Located at 805 14 Ave SW, Amble Ventures' 14-storey, 137-unit, Redstone residential development will rise close to the heart of the Beltline, the project to represent a total influx of approximately 200 residents. Thus diverging somewhat from the citywide trend of projects stalling or facing cancellation, the Beltline-area Redstone appears to be part of a relatively steadfast contingent of similar developments that have either recently completed or are about to reach completion in the neighbourhood.

Designed by NORR Architects, Redstone will feature a mix of white, grey, and black spandrel paneling, with balconies and ample windows for each unit. While it is unclear whether there will be any retail at grade, it does appear that the tower itself will come to rest on a raised plot, with stairs connecting the main entrance(s) to the sidewalk.

Once complete, Redstone will be a fine addition to the area, the development part of the Beltline's ongoing transformation.
