Coming soon to the corner of 5 St SW and 17 Ave SW in the heart of the bustling Beltline district, The Fifth by Arlington Street Investments has revealed a series of new renderings as site preparation continues ahead of construction. Designed by NORR Architects, The Fifth now appears to have been bulked up since the first renderings, the overall massing of the structure much more uniform than before, with just one consistent height instead of three.

While there is as of yet little information on the glass encased spacemen, there is reason to believe a public art installation of some kind may be in the works for the development.

Viewed in the images above from the corner of 5 St SW and 17 Ave SW, the loss of Waves Coffee House will be more than made up for thanks to the inclusion of what appear to be at least four separate ground-floor retail spaces, including a corner coffee shop location.

Covered in dark spandrel panels, the entirety of the 5 St SW facade will be given a very distinctive appearance, which will be contrasted by white masonry accents.

Viewed above, the build site is now home to a small sales centre, the recently cleared lot now ready for the arrival of construction crews.
