Fram+Slokker's Verve has reached another big milestone after topping out in January — the yellow tower crane that serviced vertical construction has been dismantled with the assistance of a large mobile crane set up on 5th Street SE. The disassembly signifies the substantial completion of the exterior building envelope as work on finishing the interiors progresses.

Scheduled to begin accepting residents in the fall, the 25-storey Verve meets the ground with a five-storey podium containing live-work suites and 10,000 square feet of retail space. Good Earth Coffeehouse, Panago Pizza and Barber Culture have already committed to occupying some of the units. Verve is the first condominium to be built along The Riff pedestrian street, which will bifurcate the neighbourhood diagonally from George C. King Bridge to 8th Avenue SE.

The Giannone Petricone Associates-designed glass and concrete building features an amenity area containing a party room, dining room, fitness room, and lounge seating, with an outdoor deck on the sixth floor providing barbecue and yoga space. There's also a rooftop lookout terrace in the works, giving residents unparalleled perspectives 25 floors above the ground.
