Nearly a year after photos emerged showing excavation in progress at the site of The SNR Group's Infinity in Marda Loop, the four-storey rental building at 2002 34th Avenue has topped out. The building's bulging balconies and ground-level retail have taken shape, with glazing for the units the only visible sign of cladding so far. Meanwhile, Sarina Homes' Avenue 33 has assumed its final form a stone's throw to the north, adding 36 condominiums to the development-rich neighbourhood.

The 38 apartments contained within the modest Infinity offer oversized terraces with barbecue gas hookups, stainless steel appliances, nine-foot ceiling heights and a dedicated parking spot in the underground heated parkade. An 11,000-square-foot strip of retail on the main floor provides enough room for boutiques and restaurants to help animate the area.

The FAAS Architecture-designed Avenue 33 also boasts units with nine-foot ceiling heights and flexible floor plans in their one- and two-bedroom configurations, complementing a contemporary exterior accented by natural cedar balcony frontages.
