Prospective buyers now have another location to scout, as Avi Urban launches pre-construction sales on August at University District. The 120-unit development stacks six levels, consisting of five storeys of residences sitting atop a main floor of retail.
The one- and two-bedroom suites range in size from 544 to 958 square feet. The development's show suite and sales centre, located in the University District Discovery Centre at 4410 University Avenue NW, gives potential buyers a taste of the interiors.
The design employs oversized balconies and windows, while the site ushers in a private courtyard at the rear of the building. August will neighbour a new Alt Hotel proposed to the immediate west.
University District by West Campus Development Trust is slated to contain nearly 7,000 homes at full build-out, with 250,000 square feet of retail, 1.5 million square feet of office space, and 40 acres of green space linked by 12 kilometres of multi-use trails. The new community includes Truman Homes' Noble and Brookfield Residential's Ivy, plus an independent living project dubbed Maple, also to be developed by Truman Homes.
