Inglewood's eclectic array of businesses, restaurants, art galleries, and festivals have contributed to the neighbourhood's thriving atmosphere. Recognizing Inglewood's urban assets, the Canadian Institute of Planners named it Canada's greatest neighbourhood. Previously known as Brewery Flats, Inglewood was established in 1911 and boasts a preserved main street and a plethora of historical buildings, including the 1875-built Fort Calgary and the Garry Theatre. The quaint village-like environment, bolstered by a strong community culture, is the next location of interest for Greenview Developments, who are currently in the midst of realizing the seven-storey AVLI on Atlantic project at 9th Avenue and 10th Street SE.

Designed by Sturgess Architecture, the 64-unit building will be Inglewood's only luxury condominium. Chris Stathonikos, the owner of the site, has been living in the neighbourhood for years. He said his love for Inglewood inspired him to develop a vision for a new condo building that would become part of the street-oriented retail fabric that has come to typify the area. Pursuant to his creative concepts, AVLI on Atlantic will contain five retail units ranging in size from 1,044 to 5,230 square feet.

Interiors by Jerilyn Wright & Associates emphasize functionality and customization. The built-in flexibility of residences allow AVLI on Atlantic homeowners to curate their living spaces to meet their own artistic tastes. Beyond the distinct personal flair that each resident will embed into their unit, premium custom cabinetry, garden terraces, gourmet kitchens, high-gloss porcelain finishes, wood grain accents, chrome hardware, integrated appliances all come standard.

Homes are ranging in price from $350,000 to $1.5 million, with floor plans sizing in anywhere from 545 to 2,200 square feet. Residents will have access to a surfeit of indoor and outdoor amenities, including a large river-facing terrace, a social lounge, barbecue stations, a library, and an amenity lounge for social functions. There are currently 23 available units remaining in the development.
