Just east of Downtown Calgary, St. Patrick's Island offers impressive views of the river and city skyline from the middle of the Bow River. In today's Daily Photo, submitted by Flickr user Andrew Jarman, we are shown a northwest-facing view captured from St. Patrick's Island. The tallest structure visible in this shot is The Bow, which held the title of Calgary's tallest building before recently being surpassed in height by Brookfield Place.
