The Belvedere Place project is 214 units.
There are countless other MF projects in the suburbs particularly in the NE and SE. Too many to keep track of. They just quietly get built without the fanfare that we see with high rise projects.

Also the 1334 10 Ave SW project is now called 1400 on 10th and it will be 106 units.

Good stuff. I'll adjust.

I left out suburban greenfield properties, as the list is more for projects increasing urban density in built up areas, and as you mentioned there are also too many to keep track of anyhow. I've changed the title of the thread to 'Urban Multi-Family Construction Count Tracker' ;)

Do the Trinity hills or Greenwich developments count towards the suburban category? They're kind of just filling in the gaps left by leapfrogging suburban development, so not sure if that counts or not, but both effectively border Bowness
I was wondering whether to add them or not. To me Trinity Hills and Greenwich felt like greenfield in that there was new infrastructure needed to support the area, but U/D also had that situation. U/D was mainly added due to it being more surrounded by established neighborhoods and closer in.

My opinion would be to leave Greenwich and TH off the list. They’re almost close to the edge of the city.

This is exciting! With 6000 units under construction in inner-city areas, that is probably 9000 residents. It doesn't take a lot of years at this pace to see our inner-city communities become much more interesting in terms of density. Just thinking about an extra 30 000 people from Mission through DT to Kensington seems awesome.

I think neighborhoods like Mission, Sunnyside, Bridge-land, etc.. are going to keep developing and increasing the inner city population. Also we're already seeing that action spread to neighboring places like West Hillhurst, Sunalta and Renfrew.

Yes, I live in West Hillhurst and even in my SFH area, we are seeing 4 townhouses on corner lots, the potential CBC redevelopment and of course things happening on 19 Street....hopefully we can see more of those tiny old war-time homes on 19th turn into 4 to 8 level buildings along with the redevelopment of the old Legion. It feels like 19th has the potential to turn into a new mini Kensington or Marda Loop
