Looks well attended! Ive been impressed with how the Confluence has been activated lately, seems like the city is really utilizing it as a festival space. Now bring back X-fest!

This could actually turn into something big that might catch interest internationally. Make it a 3 day event with some big name concert acts and you have yourself a winter festival that may draw tourists from all over the world!

The Calgary Exhibition, on the current Stampede Park, use to hold a Winter Carnival. What made it fail? A lack of snow, this was 1924.

Calgary’s winter climate weather is a bit of an issue, but snowmaking machines could solve the issue, I don’t think they would need a lot of snow for this event.
