We ran into a problem with the senior living complex at this site last week in that wind storm. Portion of the roof blew off.... You can see that section missing in the second photo. I'll figure out how to upload a video that a framer caught of it happening.

Holy Smokes! Great video! What are the consequences of that, beyond simply rebuilding that section? Do they have to make any changes to the design?

Apparently site was evacuated approx 10 min before that. They have rebuilt is as was originally, but changed the design of the tie downs... Jayman is quite focused on the bottom line and completing a project on time, vs probably doing the right thing, which would be a re-design of the structural components. Bit of an ethical engineering mess right now and lots of finger pointing...

Lots of blaming will be happening for sure. If I were buying into those buildings I'd be concerned. I'm sure they'll fix the issue, but it would always make me wonder.
