The only possible saving grace of West Village is if some good retail goes in and activates the street there. That and somehow we plant enough trees to hide the worst of the podium lol.

If you drive down Memorial, and don't look too close, you're almost fooled into thinking the crown is glass too.

Like most buildings in the West End, the trick is to only look with your peripheral vision.

Are the little white squares in the crown a plastic covering or actual white spandrel? If those are plastic and the entire crown is just a solid black top than it becomes a tad more tolerable. If those are actual spandrel than this becomes the worst tower in the city. What the hell is the point of a couple white panels in a solid black crown? It’s not even random or pixelated enough to have an effect.
