Proposal for two buildings at 528 & 628 10th St NW. https://www.veragroup.ca/sunnyside

Each site is envisioned with a total of 30 residential units, 6 parking stalls, and commercial uses at-grade.

Will be a nice improvement to that stretch having those three empty lots filled in.

The land use application for this has also been submitted. They look great, although I wonder how well the retail will do on the darker coloured one, being further north away from the main hub of activity, on a perceived to be much busier 10th Street vehicle wise....
 
These are fantastic, an excellent fit for the neighborhood. So nice to have this kind of development right on the bike path.

I’m sure the CA will complain about only having six parking stalls per building. Hopefully the city approves.

If there's ever a car-lite building location this is it. It's about as cycling and walking paradise as you can get in this city.

There are some progressive voices in that CA planning group now, and have spoken in favour of this proposal.
