I don't see it aging well either. The yellow and orange at least have a chance but the purple isn't going to end well.
 
After a quick look on street view the existing buildings don't look too bad and should be fine. However that lavender, at least on the rendering, looks a but tacky to me. Although its still better than grey, IMO. I guess it will partially depends on the quality of the spandrel panels.
 
I'm not liking the Lavender either. I have heard that they are planning to build two more towers just to the east (to the right in the photo), so hopefully they help hide it ;-)
