I am all for seeing this building fly up. However, I live across the street and it would be really great if ITC respected the 7am noise bylaw. Waking up at 6am on a Saturday morning to shouting, power tools and banging is infuriating...

I live nearby too. These guys are no joke eh? They work 6 or 7am to ~9pm, 6 or sometimes 7 days a week. It's not been surprising it's flying up. Good thing too, because they will be done sooner. I can't even imagine a world where inner city noise issues were taken seriously...

It doesn't have to be a sleepy suburban cul-de-sac, but surely there must be a happy middle between sleepy cul-de-sac and 14 hours of construction noise a day followed by every loud motorbike in the evenings. What do other places do? Toronto and Montreal construction noise must be wild too, did either come up with reasonable mitigation strategies?

Not at all. Nobody in Toronto respects noise complaints.

Hard to tell from this angle, but from most angles it looks like Underwood is now the same height as Union Square.

Painting of the balcony undersides has begun.

Couple misplaced panels on the right side of the building facing the park. Hope they go back to fix those cause they are quite glaring.

I feel like a sloth complaining about morning noise. Sun's up means get on with your day I suppose. Damn, I'm lazy.

On a beautiful evening from the Chumir Centre...
