I live nearby too. These guys are no joke eh? They work 6 or 7am to ~9pm, 6 or sometimes 7 days a week. It's not been surprising it's flying up. Good thing too, because they will be done sooner. I can't even imagine a world where inner city noise issues were taken seriously...I am all for seeing this building fly up. However, I live across the street and it would be really great if ITC respected the 7am noise bylaw. Waking up at 6am on a Saturday morning to shouting, power tools and banging is infuriating...

It doesn't have to be a sleepy suburban cul-de-sac, but surely there must be a happy middle between sleepy cul-de-sac and 14 hours of construction noise a day followed by every loud motorbike in the evenings. What do other places do? Toronto and Montreal construction noise must be wild too, did either come up with reasonable mitigation strategies?
I'm picturing that same view a decade ago..... The old park, plus no buildings as a backdrop. Drastically different.What a beautiful city!
