That's not a bad solution. My vehement position was against the total destruction of the green space for towers and roads.

One thing that could be done immediately to improve things would be to plant trees along the River Walk. Anyone ever try walking between the EV and Inglewood on a hot summer day? Hope you brought your sunscreen and a bottle of water, because you'll get baked.
Agreed. We definitely need the park space in that area for sure. Having retail along north side of 9th have might even enhance the park, if they can have some restaurants that have patios backing onto the park.

I would want lowrise buildings, maybe 3 or 4 floors high. Enough to create an urban corridor along 9th.

It's nice to see now up into the EV skyline. Has anyone been at Edmonton Trail and Memorial lately? The view of EV looks great from that area.
