I spotted DP2025-04322 for this 6-storey infill in Sunalta with 41 units.

Sad to lose more 100+ year old houses, but great to see some more density.

Also not stoked for construction disruptions to the bike lane, every construction company uses it as their loading zone until bylaw eventually stop them lol.
are they not supposed to? I thought they paid a fee to use them?
 
Poor Sentinel, it isn't even underway and its taking shots about its suburban-ness.

You're probably not wrong though. I'd much prefer even a Broward at that location. Maybe the materials will elevate it?

As for the devlopment in thsi thread... These type of small developments fit well in Sunalta. I think they work well in Sunnyside/Kensington too. Been a bit since we've seen something like this there though.

They can pay a fee to use it, but also have to set up a detour for cyclists, so it's not cheap. Most just use it without asking in the first place though, same with a sidewalk, both need a permit. Construction industry motto is that it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission... lol
