It's pretty much a brand new proposal so of course it wouldn't be cancelled.
Yup, most likely just on hold for the time being. It's possible that by the time it comes back to life there may be a redesign or changes to the design.

Apparently there is some action on this one. Aside from applying for a building permit, word is they have been begun the tendering process with a construction target date of fall 2017.

I noticed the current business on that property, Maria Tomas furniture, is having a closing sale. Is that because of this development starting up?

Between the rumor of the contractor tendering, the Maria Tomas closeout and the BP being issued, it sure does appear they are moving ahead.
Surprising in this market, but yes it does doesn't it. The rental market must still be half decent. I know Cidex was involved in the Aura Towers and I noticed that they have been filling up lately.

The WAM towers on 10th are rental too, same with the Portofino tower. I wonder if that isn't flooding the market a bit?
