I never noticed that the tower has two tones of gray.
Is it two tones? I can't tell for sure, but it might just be the lighting.

Pretty sure the grey spandrel on the inset portion of the tower is darker than the exterior cladding. The lighting in those photos make that lighter grey cladding look dynamic though!
 
Yeah I agree. I was worried when the cladding started, but I'm in love with it now.
 
I really like the shape that this is taking, the balconeys that hang out on the non-street faces are really well complimented by the inset ones that are street facing. Nice building!
 
It's messy. The glass panels have several different widths I don't know why developers always choose mullion caps that stand out rather than blend in. I'm just waiting on the balconies to see if they pull the random elements together.

This was my favourite proposal so I had a particularly high expectation. This remains disappointing thus far.
 
The metal panels look pretty good IMHO, but I'm no a fan of the black spandrel/grey mullion combo - looks cheap.
