I blame the lack of transit priority downtown, outdated network design, and the downtown one-way arterial system not working well for transit.
A network of bus lanes downtown would do absolute wonders for OTP... I really hope they at least get it going with the Centre Street MAX upgrades in the future. The concept designs for those even involve having two bus lanes on some of the avenues to allow buses to pass each other

did they ever publish or engage on this? I don't recall ever seeing a concept or plan - I know they talked a lot about the opportunity during the pandemic to reallocate road space to buses downtown, but never got around to it.
