I was looking at the construction wondering what's going on. A bit of searching revealed a [reclad project](https://skyrisecities.com/database/projects/len-werry-reclad.45175), along with some renderings on the Hindle Architects website. There's also a street-side digital wall project that's already operational. All images are not from Hindle and Telus, none are my own.

Yeah it's been underway for a long time. Years. Very little has changed in the last year.

Probably for financial reasons. Telecoms have lost a lot of value in the last several years, likely cutting a lot of non-core projects.

It's not even that hard to make a building without windows look good. Truly pathetic effort by everyone involved

I was wondering who Len Werry was, and what he did for this snoozer of a building (even in original form) to be named after him. Turns out that he was Alberta's "Minister of Telephones and Utilities" during the 70s. Sadly, he passed away in a car accident in 1973, which I assume lead to the building dedication (since it was still under Alberta Government Telephone at the time).

Now you know...the rest of this still pretty uninteresting story.

There seems to be some activity nowadays. In top photo here, there's work on the columns going up to the roof, and the crane on the roof looks similar to the rendering. Compare to bottom photo from costar.com, which is from before the crane was installed and after the digital art wall was completed (2023ish?).
