I don't think there's been any movement. My ideal outcome would be a taller tower (like Kit at Kensington) that doesn't take up the whole parcel, and we expand the pedestrian area, that can double as a patio dining space in the summer. Doesn't need to be a plaza, but the current sidewalk at that crossing shouldn't be legal.

Anyone have any insight / update on this project?

Pretty sure the redesignation was nothing more than a land lift for the current owner. They have no development expertise, so I don't expect to see something happen on this site unless and until it gets purchased by an experienced developer.
