It's not public yet who is behind the new zoning application, but it seems likely that another developer has taken over the project.

In an alternate universe the financial collapse didn't happen and we got all three Arriva towers, his project to the east of it (Viva?), the Hotel Arts tower, and his version of Curtis Block. Wouldn't have been half bad.
