Original Information on Project
There is a land-use redesignation for one of the parcels in The Bridges, 950 McPherson Square. Scheduled to go to CPC on December 13th. The land use can be found here:

Again, because it is only a land use application and not a DP, the images from the engagement panels aren't final. But, here they are:

Looks good - not into the car-loop however as it detracts from what could be a pretty good street wall.

Lol the loop has been there for like a decade.
 
I hate this trend of grey and white spandrel stripes, boxes and, abstract patterns. Seldom do they look good. This one has a chance design wise. The urban form is great with retail and front door units. My preference would be medium rise block over the tower and podium arrangement.
 
Yes - doesn't change the fact that I believe it was a poor choice in designing these parcels.

I agree. It's like they looked at similar squares in Europe and thought, "those are nice". But then the transportation department came along and said, "okay, but for no good reason at all, we need the road around it to be wide enough to accommodate three side-by-side pick-up trucks taking the corners at 60km/h". And, before you know it, the "square" actually becomes an abandoned median within a circular driveway.

In all fairness, the loop does feel smaller and quainter in real life than it does on the rendering.

This project looks great. I've been in the city 7 years and amount of change in bridgeland during that time is crazy. With this project and Dominion the neighbourhood is adding 2 more great pieces. Will be interesting to see this area in another 7 years.
