Calgary Flames Official Thread

I'm guessing that you want Calgary to remain in the mediocre middle.
100%. Truth told, I don't mind the Flames. I'm not from Calgary and used to root for both teams, but in recent years with McDavid and Drai, etc.. I've become more of an Oiler fan. Most other Oiler fans would like for Calgary to keep winning just enough to be mediocre.

Perfectly awful start to January. There's a lot of calendar days between now and the trade deadline, 56. But not that many games for the flames because of the Olympics, 10. So there's little to no opportunity for them to put themselves in a position to hold on to their players. The insiders, talking about Kadri wanting to move to a contender, Coleman, getting interest and Andersson being gone before the Olympics makes me think the team looks very different in 56 days.

Coleman and Andersson are both pieces that could get us something, hopefully first round picks, albeit late round picks, but still. Hard to say with Kadri, but at this point, a second round pick would be great.

Andersson should net a 1st and a player, Coleman likely a 2nd and a player.
Andersson 100% first rounder. I think we could also get a 1st for Coleman, not from every team, but a team that has the right fit could give up a 1st, especially if it's a good team, and their 1st is a late round pick anyways.
