I have the week off and decided I drive around the city and check out some of the developments. This one’s alright.

Those wavey two tone patterns using paver stones are all the rage these days. Wince to see the variety, but I hope it doesn’t get overdone.

The wavey is the grade not the line.

When you withdraw from design school the sign on the exit says “When you’re void of any creativity, always go with stripes.”
 
UD is turning out pretty well, although, it still feels pretty inorganic, like most master planned communities in the early years.
It has that inorganic feel for sure, but they’ve done a decent job mixing things up. Once the neighborhood ages it’ll be a nice pocket of urbanity especially next to the U.
