They have a hiring fair sign up in the Winners now. Couldn't spot dates from the sidewalk but my guess is it'll be soon.

Man, I hope the Superstore helps build some momentum in EV in getting the remainder of the lots developed. At this point, regardless of the economy, EV has everything going for it as an ideal neighborhood to live in and if developers are still hesitant or having a hard time selling the area to consumers, then that's just a big L for Calgary. Glad to see this tower go ahead. Would be even more stoked to see something out of the blue announced hopefully soon.

The condo market appears to be recovering a bit. I'm pretty confident that in the next 5 years, some of the high profile condo developments that have been on the backburner in EV and elsewhere will start to come back into play

Even purpose-built rentals would be nice. Plenty of capital funds are willing to invest in such real estate opportunities. Don't know why EV hasn't seen a wave of them given its location. Hopefully, some of the new land deals being finalized in EV bring new development sooner rather than later.
