Those listed are ones under construction or planned correct? There are also others that have already been built. There’s one up near Sundre somewhere that I have driven past a few times.

The project I’m working on (under development / proposed), which is not listed in the project lists above, is the Saddlebrook Solar + Storage Project in Aldersyde, AB. Phase I proposes construction of up to 102.5 MW of solar, to be constructed starting in Q2 next year, subject to regulatory approval from the Alberta Utility Commission (AUC). Phase II proposes up to 6.5 MW, 40 MWh of storage, to be constructed starting in Q2 2023.

That's quite a beefy list of solar projects in Alberta. I can see southern Alberta and Saskatchewan becoming a major hub for solar production. Maybe if we produce enough electricity from solar we can eventually use it for Hydrogen production, and can be producers of green hydrogen instead of blue hydrogen. Not that there's anything wrong with blue hydrogen, but from a marketing look, green hydrogen looks better.
 
Just to be clear, around half of those “proposed” projects on the OP list are of course not merely proposed, but well under construction. The Travers Vulcan Solar Project will be operation within the next 8 months.

it’s by far the largest in Canada, and one of the largest on the planet.
