@Always_Biking At least your Lamb project is under construction. Meanwhile, there's a rumour that the first of Edmonton's (Jasper House) may not even happen anymore.

I would be very surprised if Calgary's other Lamb project (Orchard) gets going for a while either. I think the next couple of years could be lean years when it comes to ground breaking here in Calgary.

I just noticed the other hole in the bottom corner of the image. That must be the one for the Marriott. These two projects in tandem are going to mean a huge transformation for a vacant quarter of our down town. I wonder if anyone is seriously eyeing the lot directly across 10th ave from this one? If memory serves its a really shady liquor store and a couple other questionable businesses. Doing away with those would do wonders for the area as well.

The economy has nothing to do with it, the number of sales do. They're at like 75% or more for tower 1 of Orchard so we should probably see it begin construction this year.
