basically just rearranged the surface parking from the previous configuration.
Yeah they did pull a re-arrangement there. Not sure why they bothered to keep a small surface lot, maybe visitor parking? At least we have a small victory in that the lot doesn't directly front 4th ave or have an entrance onto 4th ave.
 
That is weird. If I recall correctly, the little parking lot was a point of contention at CPC a couple years back. I do much prefer the configuration of the parking, though - access via the lane with that screening feature will look a lot better than the current strip mall with parking in front. I still consider it a solid win.

I guess for me the sentiment of this place was that it was the first marijuana dispensary I ever went to.

Oh well.
 
I used to go to Banzai there for cheap bento boxes, that was at least 10 years ago now though. Never tried the Vietnamese place that took over the space though.
