Some good sized projects coming down the pipe for Calgary. Last month development permits for a 46 storey, 277 unit tower in Calgary's Eau Claire district has been submitted, as well as a DP for a three tower, 776 unit project in Calgary's Beltline.

Nice. I've always ranked Vancouver second in terms of best skylines in Canada, but Calgary's is definitely looking bulkier by the day.

BTW, @Surrealplaces, do you have any additional information about those two projects? A link to the city website perhaps?
There will be more info coming shortly. The permits have only just been submitted so aren't open to the public yet. Unfortunately the info won't available on-line for a link until they go to Calgary Planning commission meetings, which will probably be late spring sometime.
There is also another project coming down the pipe for an 18 and 30 storey tower out of the core near Calgary's Mount Royal University. Some interesting projects coming along.
