    Calgary International Airport

If Westjet starts Iqaluit then I believe we are the only airport in the nation that flys to all 10 provinces and 3 territories! Im not sure how accurate this would be, because I can't understand the reasoning for all the connections into the Seattle Metro region. Bellingham, Seattle (AC DL AS...

It would be nice if we could do that along 9th avenue along the tracks where there is like 9 blocks of uninterrupted parking lots.

    General Construction Updates

I have family visiting from Italy and i can promise you they almost enjoy getting fast food like A&W, Chipotle, etc. vs sit down restaurants. We drove around looking for a restaurant for 35 minutes a couple days ago and ended up eating at subway. My cousins told me it’s because they want to...

    General Construction Updates

Every single time I drive by the building there's either someone being hauled off in and ambulance or being arrested. The cashiers in the Superstore wear body cams and the winners had armed guards at the doors. Might be the most unsavoury spot in the city. The bargin is not without its costs.

I'd love if they continued with small stores, that just sold the HBC stripes blankets and what not. Those things are a Canadian staple.

    Calgary Retail Thread

Given that all of The Bays locations are almost all closing now, that would leave Chinook with 3 anchor tenant vacancies (Saks, The Bay, Nordstroms). I wonder what could fill the space? The Bay is almost the last of its kind, there isn't many options in Canada for big box stores left, Simons...

Heard from word of mouth that with Hudson Bays restructuring they’ll be closing down their Sunridge, South Centre and (unfortunately) their Downtown location. Market Mall and Chinook will remain. Nothing official yet however. Sunridge and South centre are one thing but Downtown would be a huge...

    The Great Canadian Tariff Thread

Given how bent Trump is on decreasing the US national debt I have a sneaking suspicion that he’s using tariffs as a way to gain extra cash flow to pay off these debts. However I wouldn’t be shocked if he either is A: Using the tariffs as a way to weaken our economy to further push the...
