yess I agree!! that would be a good use of the bridge. It would also be cool to see a bike lane beside it too. lessen the bike traffic on street level.

Crazy how we haven't heard anything regarding the event centre for a long while now. It's been kinda quiet. Hopefully everything is still going.

Yeah I really like this proposal, It actually had character and felt walkable with all the neon signage which is very cool for an urban area that Calgary very much needs. If this had a lot of modern shops like buble tea shops, cafes, bakery it woul def bring in more people to Chinatown instead...

I think Terry Wong and the seenu or association voted or protested against it, but I still don’t understand why since Chinatown really needed something like this. It’s mostly older people living here and they need to attract younger people.

Any news on any redevelopment of Chinatown? These were some planned buildings that were scrapped unfortunately.

It sucks we aren't hearing anything regarding these 4 towers. These are really amazing designs and would make the eastern end of downtown more densed.

I found some more renderings, they honestly look better with the round and silver design.

Populous are an amazing architectural firm. They also designed the BMO centre

I agree, I hope they change the design so something like what they did in Ottawa new arena.

That's honesty so unfortunate man, I was just struck by hopium that the design could potentially change. Also, they also mentioned that they had other design proposals, but the one we saw was the one we were presented with.
