i am thinking if you don't need it on the first floor then the second don't require it either as you can still transfer that load to the shear walls as similar to L1- which is why i found it odd
two ends with the huge cantilevers - i wonder how they made it work without thick transfer slab at the lowest level- didn't drive by this often when it was being built-dang
honestly TS is sick looking especially when it was in construction and could see the walking columns. If I would change one thing about TS is that it doesn't get so small so aggressively at the top, it looks too bottom heavy and top is a bit thin. thats all
i like everything about it - I can't wait for it to be done so I can walk around it- I hope they can get Tower C up and running too so its a complete building instead of a portion of it cut off.
i wonder why they didn't just do 6 storey out of wood, the concrete up to the second floor looks quite unique with all the steps and drop panels, the slab soffit also slopes in some areas, I wonder why they did that? hmm..
