We can't really compare - It's like saying Toronto compared to New York City , or heck even Tokyo (no chance at all for number of main streets). I get your point but for the age, size and population, Calgary's 17th avenue is not bad. While currently living in mission I am enjoying the...

    Calgary International Airport

Either destination would be great to have a direct flight down to Colombia from Calgary.

I think that might be a bit far.. My guess would be the Galapagos islands, they also have penguins down there! I want to say Bogota but the elevation would make it tough, unless there's a triangle route like KLM/Emirates/Turkish does for longer routes out of Bogota.

    Copenhagen | 35m | 10s | Copenhagen | Casola Koppe

I can confirm the full site has been fenced out, including the surface parking lots - lots of action on 11th ave along with Imperia and Lincoln.

    Calgary Transit

I agree - the extension that makes the most sense is down to 210 avenue station, reason why is there are plans to build a transit oriented development called Belmont station. Currently the library and future field house are getting constructed...

WestJet has requested Colombian authority to fly YYZ-MDE 4 times a week - first destination in Colombia. YYC-BOG should be their next goal. https://www.aerocivil.gov.co/loader.php ... Item=29543

I don't think there is budget for either intersection, the 194th overpass has been waiting for sometime to get funded. https://www.calgary.ca/planning/projects/macleod-tr-194-ave-sw-interchange.html

WestJet has no direct flights to South America yet - Bogota might be next? Air Canada currently has direct flights from Toronto & Montreal but Calgary-Bogota could be next?

Looks like it won't have an underground parkade - makes sense given it's right next to heritage LRT station.

I would have preferred AM instead of WS - they provide a complimentary premium service for all international flights and include baggage fees even for economy.

I graduated in 2007 - and I don't recall seeing that gas station. From imagery it looks like it was taken down in 2002. Image from 2001: And then again from 2003:

Which old gas station gravel lot? I went to St. Mary's as well but I'm trying to remember.

Might as well have done just boreholes if it's soil sampling? I'm still happy this is moving along.
