Agreed. With no new funding committed yet, I would hope that they would revisit the the track size for this facility. If we're gonna do this - and put hundreds of millions of dollars in to it - do it right. Hopefully the full funding actually comes into fruition within the next couple of years...

I do think the street level could be better. I'm not in alignment with the courtyard access being from the front. The orientation should be flipped so 17th and 14th are lined up with CRUs that aren't disrupted. But I'm okay with the height considering the number of units it provides.

Drove by this last night, and appreciate how great they look.

I'll keep pushing for this: Make the Saddledome location a new football stadium (~20K capacity) to replace McMahon Stadium. Go all in on making this area a true entertainment centre for the city.

Would be nice to have a Sunterra Grocery store on the west end of downtown/beltline though.
