It's kind of funny that since the West LRT opened 13 years ago, everything within the red outline has been effectively a No-Development zone. Yet, outside the red outline there has been several re-developments of under used properties.

Even adding bus only lanes on 5th, 6th and 9th Ave. would do wonders for traffic management. It would be nice if the city made significant streetscape improvements to the sidewalks in DT, but I get the impression that there are a ton of utilities under the sidewalk which would make it challenging.

Looks like the plan is to build a busway adjacent to Market Street where the future Greenline is going to go. I assume they have to demolish the busway to install the tracks for the Greenline? I wouldn't say momentum have stalled. I would be nice to see more cycling projects go ahead, but 15th Ave. is getting cycle tracks this year, there have been many pathway improvements throughout the city and cycling improvements are on the books for large parts of Forest Lawn and the NE.
