IIRC, the consensus was if the crane was mounted in concrete it would be considered part of the crane count, even though this functions much the same as a standard tower crane.

Instead of repealing the blanket zone bylaw, we need to repeal Calgary's bylaw of having to add random rectangles to every design.

There have been a couple maybe 2-3 SRC meetups, but the last one I think was probably like 6 years ago. We had one at Brown's social house on 16th ave, and there was one at Bottlescrew Bill's. There was also an early one at Last Best, way back probably 2017 maybe?

I'll miss the mature trees, but will be looking forward to the sidewalk wrapping around the crescent. Not sure what kind of retail will go in, but it would be a great spot for a pub or cafe with a patio.

Unfortunately just a concept for now. I think something will be developed on that parcel, but whether is something like this who knows. We're hoping the rumoured Allies and Morrison project is for that location.

Thanks Kora. It'll be interesting to see how the trends go. It's hard to get a good idea of a 25 year prediction from an 8 month trend. As well a lot of Calgary's growth has been strong inter-provincial numbers and a strong (relative to the other metros) natural increase. How immigration numbers...
