    Infill Development Discussion

Thank god they're redoing 26 ave, its so rough at the moment, and pulling out onto it from the side streets is sketchy with cars parked so close to the intersections. Biking on it is also sketchy, it never shoukd have been classified as a preferred bike route. Im curious how they will do the...

Beautiful morning for bike to work day. Probably around 300 people at the pancake breakfast, and the bike paths were very busy with commuters today. Love to see it!

    Urban Development and Proposals Discussion

https://dmap.calgary.ca/?p=LOC2025-0080 Its a land use redesignation. I could see the condo building getting redeveloped, its pretty rough and only occupies <50% of the lot. Strange that both lots are included in the application, maybe someone with some more knowledge on this could chime in

    Calling all Torontonians

Seems like Richmond Hill is a pretty typical canadian car oriented suburban area, so he'll probably be pleasantly suprised by Calgary's inner neighbourhoods

    The Gryphon | 22.7m | 6s | Mancal | LOLA

My dream would be for Leonard or maybe Certus to acquire the corner lot next door and build something similar to the Martel block to the west. Then you have some really high quality, low rise, mixed use buildings to book end that little strip that is developing. Deville is popular on the west...

I think it all looks great. My main question though: will there be an ice plant? Our last few winters have barely been able to sustain outdoor rinks as it is just not cold for long enough. If this doesn't have an ice plant then the winter usage will be severely reduced, compared to the old plaza.

From what I've seen, Leonard has 3 more homes on 34th that they're working on. 1926, 1924, and 1908 (i think)

    2025 Federal Election

Ok, so why would PP be better? Im yet to read any real reasons why PP would be a good leader, I only hear smear about Carney from the Conservatives

    2025 Federal Election

Im curious why you think a lifelong politician who has never held a real job in his entire life, would be a better choice to lead us through tough economic times, than a Harvard and Oxford educated Economist who has led the bank of Canada and bank of England through similarity turbulent times.
